Moonlight Motel

Okay, NO, it's not the Four Seasons. But ... the rooms are spacious, clean and well appointed. There is plenty of free parking. If you're on a motorcycle as I was, the owner will allow you to park under the awning. Owner is super friendly and I enjoyed chatting with him. He accepted cash payment without asking for a credit card. A very welcome plus as I don't like places having my cc info. Plenty of free parking, but it is a gravel lot, so there are some potholes. Not a big deal in an automobile. For those so inclined, there is a "dispensary" on the same lot. HOWEVER, the hotel charges a $250.00 cleaning fee for smoking or vaping in your room. He will take pets, probably with restrictions, with an additional deposit. I believe the sign said it was $30.00. About the only downside to me was there is no nearby restaurant. But I'm usually on the road three or four hours before I stop for food anyway, so that didn't matter to me. Opinions may vary.

We like to try mom and pop motels when we travel and the Moonlight Motel did not disappoint! Our beds were very comfortable, and the location was soooooo quiet. The owners have done a great job giving this place a new life.

Very nice place. Big, quiet, comfortable rooms with all the amenities. Right off the highway with plenty of parking and a big courtyard with covered tables and chairs. Easy walk to a convenience store in case you want snacks and drinks. There is an Albertsons (small) in town if you need to do bigger shopping. This is agreat little place to hang out and explore the area.

We LOVED it here! Such a cute place! The rooms were great, and the owner was so very nice! We would stay here again!

People were very friendly at this motel. It is definitely not your regular chain motel. We travel all over the U. S. with our hot shot business and stay in lots of hotels. We really enjoyed our stay here cause it was a small place in a small town. Got to park right out front where I could see my truck and trailer. Rooms were clean and spacious. Bed was comfortable and water pressure in shower was great. A big bonus was the smart TV. Most hotels do not have these and we are stuck watching what is on at that time. We enjoyed watching our programs from the apps. Overall it was a great dtay and would stay again if we are back in the area. Only complaint I had is we wished the ac went lower than 68....we like our rooms cold. But that's just us being picky. Recommend to anyone traveling thru to stop and stay here.

Dont let the name fool ya! This motel is definitely an amazing find and one to add to your favorite list if you are anywhere in the area. The rooms were pleasantly updated and the outside as well. They have microwave and mini fridge. Very quiet at night with beautiful views at sunset! I will say make sure you have very good bug spray (Not anything they can control just from the irrigation local farming). Would be very glad to return!

Place is awesome. Me and the guys got 5 rooms for about a week, they’re all themed differently. Nice and clean, very welcoming. Nice bathrooms, easy access, smart TV, comfortable beds. I’ll definitely be back. I’ve stayed in a bunch of hotels and motels all around the country and this is definitely one of my favorites cause it just feels like home.

Perfect place to stay for a a few days while we hunted. For 2 people who are only in need of a place to rest, the room was all we needed. The service was great, even checking in with us while we were there. Clean rooms and comfortable bed. The gas station next door had some good, hot food for dinner along with coffee and breakfast sandwiches in the morning. Thanks Moonlight for a great stay!
